FlossTube is LIVE and some more!

Oh yes! I have done it! I am now a proud member of the FlossTube community Рmay channel Dreaming in Aida currently has three videos and 57 subscribers (*at time of writing).

Here are the videos:

FlossTube #1 – Intro, WIPs, Finishes & Plans

FlossTube #2 – What have I let myself into?

FlossTube #3 – a little later than planned!

From watching other FlossTubers, I have been recommended many more – my list is getting longer and longer. Are there any you would reconmend? Please let me know, either here on the blog or at my channel.

As I have finished both “The Story Time Sampler” and “You’re Dino-mite” from The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery; I am now working on “A Very Merry Christmas Town” as a Christmas present for my grandparents. I am still working on this piece at least one hour a day as part of the #TheStitchingHour2017 tag on Instagram. I have so many patterns I want to get started on. I feel that a pattern rotation may be in order; especially when you see what I have signed up for!

I have some exciting news! I have joined the following Stitch A-Longs (SALs):

KLT Charting РRussian Doll SAL Рthis started yesterday, 12th July. I am waiting for my DMC and Aida to arrive and then I will crack on with this. I cannot decide if I should do them in one long piece or in individual dolls. This is a fortnightly release; so I will need to gt my head down for this one.

Lakeside Needlecraft РSpooky Halloween SAL Рthis SAL does not officially start 1st August; but I am ready to start this SAL. This is a weekly release! I have my DMC and Aida Рjust need the boarder; which is released on 1st August.

I have ordered MANY needle minders from The Everyday Stitcher, a Heaven and Earth Design – Brigid’s Shamrock and a Rainbow Birth Sampler from Little Dove Designs. I am going to make the sampler twice; one for a close friend and the second for a former student. I hope that they like them! I can’t wait to show you all in my next video!

Until the next row…

Creating my own patterns…

I recently downloaded KG Chart LE for Cross Stitch as I needed to work out how to do the Bookmarks I am doing for the Bookcrossing Convention in Oslo – I found that it was very easy to use. I have been thinking about creating my own patterns to sell. Is that a good idea or not? I know I am not going to be as fab as the lovely ladies at The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery; but it would be something I would like to do.
